Don’t Drink … Play!
If you like to have a beer ever so often, leave your money at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your evening bag, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Take only the money you expect to use on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to burn and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well have a win after a boozy night out with your buddies and be blessed enough to hit a long toss at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that account seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and bet. These activities simply do not go well together.
Keeping your money out of the casino might be a bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is required. If you play to profit, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to be wasteful with your assets without a worry, then drink all the free alcohol you can handle, but do not carry credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated brain loses everything!
Allow me to carry this a single step more. do not drink and then hop on the net to gamble in your favorite internet casino either. I love to beverage from the comfort of my condo, however seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards near by, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely sufficient to befuddle my common sense. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both create an awful, and crazy, drink.
