There is an appealing story to the Cambodia casinos that lie just across the border from neighboring Thailand, where casino gaming is against the law. Eight casinos are anchored in a relatively small area in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. This group of Cambodia gambling halls is in an excellent spot, a 3 to 4 hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the 2 biggest betting centers in Asia. The original gambling den in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, premiered in 1999 and the Golden Crown before long followed. Another one of the 8 gambling halls in Poipet, again a part of a motel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slot machine games and 97 table games. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an all-inclusive vacation and hotel compound that features a number of luxuries accompanying the casino, which houses ten thousand square feet of 130 slots and eighty eight gaming tables.
