1st to explain why I write this article. I have been wagering on the web or at land-based casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you start to track your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your gut and the harder you attempt the faster you lose.
When you notice that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and again and again, believe me, this plan RARELY ever operates. Say you are betting on slot games, have a bankroll put aside before starting your action. DO NOT go over that boundary, regardless how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a separate pot. Do not risk your successes no matter what. Once you have played through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it’s on the internet or at a land-based betting house, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.
Always remember, wagering is assumed to be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, do not even begin.
